Delta IV, into the new millennium
SEI is proud to be associated with the latest Boeing rocket, the Delta IV, launched from the SLC37B pad at Cape Canaveral Air force base in Nov 2002. The pad was almost totally re-constructed and SEI were involved in the design and construction process throughout. The ECS system was controlled by a GE Fanuc 9070/9030 redundant PLC using a Cimplicity HMI. SEI manufactured, Programmed, and provided technical support for the control system throughout the construction and launch process leading to the award of a three year engineering support contract.

Port Canaveral CCTV
SEI has completed the installation of the first fully integrated CCTV system in the USA to meet the new homeland security requirements for ports and airports. The system uses the latest intruder detection and tracking technology to alert Port security personnel to any activity in the secure perimeter and waterways. Immediate response can be decided upon by the staff/law enforcement agencies and all activity is recorded 24/7.

The installation utilizes sophisticated communications and camera technology to cover one of the largest, and now most secure, passenger seaports in the country.
